The Muscat Marathon is an annual long-distance running event held in Muscat, Oman. Its official name is ماراثون الموج مسقط, Al Mouj Muscat Marathon. Approximately 5,000 athletes participate in the marathon race and other competitions. In November 2022, 110 completed the marathon distance, and 621 athletes finished the half marathon.

In 2022, athletes from 51 countries took part in the Muscat Marathon races.

The half marathon race, spanning a distance of 13.1 mi/21.097 km, commences simultaneously with the marathon at 6:00 on 26 January 2024 (Friday) from Street 6, near Al Mouj Marina Muscat.

Age limit: at least 17 years old on the race date.

6.2mi/10km Race

The 10km run starts at 8:00 on 26 January 2024 (Friday) from Street 6, near Al Mouj Marina Muscat.

Age limit: at least 15 years old on the race date.

Participants from other countries arriving in Muscat on the evening before the race can arrange to collect their race kit on the morning of the race, from 4:30 to 5:30 on 26 January 2024 (Friday). More info is here.

To collect your Race Pack, you should show your photo ID and your confirmation email.

You may authorize another person to collect your Race Pack. The designated individual must present a copy of your confirmation letter, a letter stating their intent to collect it on your behalf, and their photo ID.

No health certificate is required to participate in any race of the Muscat Marathon (ماراثون الموج مسقط, Al Mouj Muscat Marathon) 2024.
