The course of the Texas Marathon 2024 consists of four loops on shaded greenbelts in Kingwood, going from the north parking lot of St. Martha Catholic School towards Lake Houston and back. The Texas Half Marathon 2024 follows a similar route with two loops.

The route is entirely run on concrete greenbelt trails and is open to the public during the race.

The start and finish for the Texas Marathon and Half Marathon 2024 are at St. Martha Catholic School in Kingwood, located at 3702 Woodland Hills Dr., Kingwood, TX 77339.

The time limit for completing the marathon or half marathon is 8 hours and 30 minutes. There is an additional limit: you must complete three loops of the marathon course before 15:00.

Water and nutrition stations are located approximately every 1.5mi/2.5 km of the route, including the finish line. These stations provide runners with water, isotonic drinks, and snacks. Additionally, finishers are provided with a pizza lunch, snacks, fruit, cookies, chips, and soft drinks.

Before the race starts on 1 January 2024 (Monday), you have the option to leave a drop bag (excluding valuables) near the start and finish line. Your bag is easily accessible from the race course.

The route of the Texas Marathon 2024 is certified by USA Track & Field USATF.

The entry fee for the Texas Marathon or Half Marathon 2024 is $100.

No health certificate is required to participate in any race of the Texas Marathon (Texas Marathon) 2024.
