The Maui Oceanfront Marathon is an annual long-distance running event held on the island of Maui, state of Hawaii, USA. The official name of the event is Maui Oceanfront Marathon. About 2.000 athletes take part in marathon race and other competitions (371 runners completed marathon and 478 finished half marathon in 2020).

The marathon race of 26.2mi/42.195km starts in the morning at 4:00, 4:40 and 5:00 (main race) 17 January 2021 (Sunday) at Wailea Ike Dr in Wailea.
Half Marathon race, 13.1mi/21.097km
The half marathon race of 13.1mi/21.097km starts in 3 waves at 6:35, at 6:40, at 6:45 17 January 2021 (Sunday) on 525 Front Street in Lahaina.
10km Race (The Maui Oceanfront 10K)
The 10km race starts at 6:55 17 January 2021 (Sunday) on 525 Front Street in Lahaina.
Entry fee: $75—105.
15km Race (The Maui Oceanfront 15K)
The 15km race starts at 6:35 17 January 2021 (Sunday) on Highway 30 near Papalau Beach.
Entry fee: $85—115.
5km Race (The Maui Oceanfront 5K Run — Walk)
The 5km race starts at 8:30 17 January 2021 (Sunday) on Highway 30, 3.1 miles south of the finish line near Kamehameha Iki Park in Lahaina.
Entry fee: $70—100.
Fun run (MOM’s Cookie Run)
The fun run starts at 8:00 14 January 2021 (Thursday) at Kalama Beach Park, 248 N Kalaheo Ave, Kailua.
Participants are encouraged to bring cookies.
Registration is free.
The course of the Maui Oceanfront Marathon 2021 tracks north on the oceanfront from Wailea through Kihei, the Kealia ponds, whale infested Maalaea Bay, the Pali, Papalaua beach, Olowalu beach, Launiupoko beach, Puamana Park to the south end of Lahaina, famous for the largest banyan tree in Hawaii.
The course is on asphalt and the shoulder of the road with the first 1.5 miles and the last mile is closed to traffic.
There is a yellow paint course marker for every mile of the route, it states “mile to go“.
Marathoners need a headlamp for safety, you may rent one for $5 on race day.
The Maui Oceanfront Half Marathon 2021 is an out and back race, its course coincides with the last 1/4 of the marathon route.
Start line for the Maui Oceanfront Marathon 2021 is at Wailea Ike Dr in Wailea.
Start line for the Maui Oceanfront Half Marathon 2021 and finish for all the races is on Front Street at the South end of Old Lahaina Town, near Malu Ulu Olele Park and beachfront Kamehameha Iki Park.

The time limit for completing the marathon or the half marathon is 7 hours.
18 water and nutrition stations are located at the marathon route, and 9 — at the half marathon route. The stations provide runners with drinking water, Ultima Replenisher isotonic, Cliff Bars, cookies, fruit, candy, Clif Shot Bloks energy gel. Finishers get snacks and Ultima Replenisher isotonic.
Before the start 17 January 2021 (Sunday) you may leave your personal belongings close to the finish line in Lahaina — behind the Hale near the toilets.
The route of the Maui Oceanfront Marathon 2021 is certified by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS), by the Road Running Technical Council of USA Track & Field (USATF).

16 January 2021 (Saturday) from 9:30 till 17:30 at the lobby meeting room of Pioneer Inn (658 Wharf St, Lahaina).
To get your Race Pack you should show your ID with photo.
No health certificate is required to enter any race of the Maui Oceanfront Marathon 2021.
