The Buckeye Marathon is an annual long-distance running event held in Buckeye, state of Arizona, USA. The official name of the event is Buckeye Marathon. Around 800 athletes participate in the marathon race and other competitions. In 2023, 113 runners completed the marathon, and 194 finished the half marathon.

The Buckeye Marathon is an official Boston Marathon Qualifier.

The Buckeye Marathon 2024 follows a point-to-point course that takes runners through the community of Sun City Festival. It continues south along a desert stretch of highway near White Tank Mountain Regional Park and Skyline Regional Park before concluding at the airfield near large airplane hangars.

The Buckeye Half Marathon 2024 follows an out-and-back course that coincides with part of the marathon route, providing runners with views of the White Tank Mountains.

The Buckeye Marathon 2024 begins at the Sun City Festival Baseball Field (N Desert Oasis Blvd, Buckeye, AZ 85396).

The Buckeye Half Marathon 2024 starts at the same location as the Buckeye Marathon, and the finish line for all the races is situated at the runway of Buckeye Municipal Airport (3000 S Palo Verde Rd, Buckeye, AZ 85326).

The time limit for completing the marathon is 6 hours, while for the half marathon, it is 5 hours.

Water and nutrition stations are located approximately every 1-2 miles along the route, as well as at the finish. These stations provide runners with drinking water, Gatorade sports drink, and GU Energy gel. Pre- and Post-Race treats include granola bars, fruit, water, Gatorade sports drink, etc.

Free shuttles operate every 30 minutes from 12:00 to 15:00 on 6 January 2024 (Saturday), transporting runners from the finish area at Buckeye Municipal Airport to the parking near the marathon start line.

The route of the Buckeye Marathon 2024 is certified by the Road Running Technical Council of USA Track & Field (USATF).

No health certificate is required to participate in any race of the Buckeye Marathon 2024.
