Kids Race, 1mi/1.6km (Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana Kid’s Marathon)
The kids race starts at 10:15 16 January 2021 (Saturday) on the corner of N 3rd Street & North Street near State Capitol Park.
All participants get event T-shirt, finisher medal, access to the Saturday’s After Party and Kids Zone.
Age limit: 12 years old and younger.
Entry fee: from $20. Family discount may be used for a family of 3 or more.
The Finish Festival takes place 16 January 2021 (Saturday) from 8:00 till 12:00 and 17 January 2021 (Sunday) from 8:00 till 14:30 at AZ Young Park, Baton Rouge.
The Fest features an eclectic variety of Louisiana food and local music.

Additional tickets are sold at the Expo and on the spot. Tickets are $4 each.
The course of the Louisiana Marathon 2021 tracks through the historic neighborhoods, oak tree lined streets and parks of Baton Rouge, through the Louisiana State University campus. It passes around the lakes: University Lake, Campus Lake, City Park Lake, and crosses Ward Creek and Dawson Creek.
The course of the Louisiana Half Marathon 2021 coincides with part of the marathon route.

The Louisiana Marathon and Half Marathon 2021 participants are self-seeded in the start corrals based on expected finish times.
The time limit for completing the marathon or the half marathon is 7 hours. Finish line closes at 14:00.
The pace makers of the Louisiana Marathon and Half Marathon 2021 provide the necessary pace in order to finish within a certain time. Finish times for marathon are following: 3:00, 3:10, 3:20, 3:30, 3:40, 3:50, 4:00, 4:15, 4:30, 4:40, 5:00, 5:30 hours. These are half marathon target times: 1:40, 1: 50, 2:00, 2:10, 2:20, 2:30 hours.
Water and nutrition stations, located at the route, provide runners with drinking water, Powerade sports drink, Honey Stinger energy gel.
Before the start from 6:00 till 14:30 17 January 2021 (Sunday), you may leave your personal belongings at the gear check area at the corner of Spanish Town Road & N. 3rd Street. Not collected bags are transported to the Louisiana Marathon office, you can get your stuff the week after the race.
The route of the Louisiana Marathon 2021 is certified by the Road Running Technical Council of USA Track & Field (USATF). The Louisiana Marathon is an official Boston Qualifier.

The entry fee for the Louisiana Marathon 2021 is from $85, for the Louisiana Half Marathon 2021 — from $70. The entry fee increases as the race date approaches.
Double registration Déjà Vu (marathon or half marathon and quarter marathon or 5km) is available. Finishers that were registered for both a Saturday and a Sunday race receive a crawfish tray.
VIP packages are for additional treats and comfort ($100 single, $150 double).
If the event is cancelled due to COVID-19 participants receive 15—80 % entry fee refund.
You may switch to another distance (with surcharge if applicable) for a fee of $20; you may defer your registration to a future event up to 14 days before the event for $20—30. More info is here.
