The Walt Disney World® Marathon and Half Marathon are annual long-distance running events and weekend race series held in the Walt Disney World® Resort in Bay Lake, state of Florida, USA. The official name of the event is Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend. About 30.000 athletes take part in marathon race and other competitions (11.317 runners completed marathon and 12.699 finished half marathon in 2022).
The Walt Disney World® Resort, aka Disney World, is an entertainment complex in Bay Lake, Florida, United States, near the cities Orlando and Kissimmee.
The Walt Disney World Marathon is an official Boston Qualifier.
In 2021 the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend was cancelled due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. Virtual races were held instead.

Walt Disney World® Marathon 2022
Marathon race, 26.2mi/42.195km (Walt Disney World® Marathon)
The marathon race of 26.2mi/42.195km starts at 5:00 8 January 2023 (Sunday) on Epcot Center Drive at Epcot, one of the Walt Disney World® theme parks.
Age limit: at least 18 years old on race day.
Half Marathon race, 13.1mi/21.097km (Walt Disney World® Half Marathon)
The half marathon race of 13.1mi/21.097km starts at 5:00 7 January 2023 (Saturday) on Epcot Center Drive at Epcot, one of the Walt Disney World® theme parks.
Age limit: at least 14 years old on race day.
The course of the Walt Disney World® Marathon 2023 tracks through all 4 Disney World theme parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
The course of the Walt Disney World® Half Marathon 2023 partly coincides with the marathon route, it passes through 2 Disney World theme parks: Epcot and Magic Kingdom.
The course of the races is marked with mile signs.
Start and finish lines for Walt Disney World® Marathon and Half Marathon 2023 is near Spaceship Earth, a geodesic sphere at Epcot, one of the Walt Disney World® theme parks. The start line is on Epcot Center Drive, and finish is in Epcot parking area.

The participants of the Walt Disney World® Marathon and Half Marathon 2023 are divided into starting blocks according to the results of the previous races indicated during registration and according to their anticipated finish time. Runners are allowed to start from the block that is behind their assigned starting position.
The starting block is indicated on the bib number. You may change your starting block in your participant account till 27 September 2022.
The time limit for completing the marathon is 7 hours, for the half marathon — 3 hours 30 minutes. You must not be behind the required 16-minute-per-mile pace to stay on the route.
Before the start you may leave your personal belongings at the gEAR Bag Check Tent near the start and finish zone in Epcot. The stuff must be packed in a clear event-issued deposit bag. The bag is included in your Race Pack along with your bib number.
The routes of the Walt Disney World® Marathon and Half Marathon 2023 are certified by USA Track & Field.
You may sign up for races of the Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend 2023 online.
The online registration is open till 29 December 2022 or till the slots last.
You must register by 27 September 2022 to get your name on your bib number.
The entry fee for the Walt Disney World® Marathon 2023 varies depending on the date of purchase:
from 19 April till 19 September 2022 — $218.52,
from 20 September till 29 December 2022 — $229.19.
The entry fee for the Walt Disney World® Half Marathon 2023 varies depending on the date of purchase:
from 19 April till 19 September 2022 — $213.2,
from 20 September till 29 December 2022 — $223.86.

To get your Race Pack you should show your photo ID, your Expo Check-in Pass (printed or digital) available on your runDisney Account from 21 February 2022. Also you must complete digital waiver.
No health certificate is required to enter any race of the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend 2023.
