The Walt Disney World® Marathon and Half Marathon are annual long-distance running events and weekend race series held in the Walt Disney World® Resort in Bay Lake, state of Florida, USA. The official name of the event is Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend. About 30.000 athletes take part in marathon race and other competitions (7.537 runners completed marathon and 12.850 finished half marathon in 2020).
The Walt Disney World® Resort, aka Disney World, is an entertainment complex in Bay Lake, Florida, United States, near the cities Orlando and Kissimmee.
Walt Disney World® Marathon 2020
Marathon race, 42.195km (Walt Disney World® Marathon)
The marathon race of 42.195km starts at 5:30 10 January 2021 (Sunday) on Epcot Center Drive at Epcot, one of the Walt Disney World® theme parks.
Age limit: from 18 years old on race day.
Half Marathon race, 21.097km (Walt Disney World® Half Marathon)
The half marathon race of 21.097km starts together with the marathon at 5:30 9 January 2021 (Saturday) on Epcot Center Drive at Epcot, one of the Walt Disney World® theme parks.
Age limit: from 14 years old on race day.
Double race: half marathon distance of 21.097km and marathon distance of 42.195km (Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge)
Double race runners finish half marathon on 9 January 2021 (Saturday), then run marathon on 10 January 2021 (Sunday).
Finishers get 3 medals.
Age limit: from 18 years old on race day.
Entry fee: 385—405 $.
4 race challenge: 5km, 10km, half marathon distance of 21.097km and marathon distance of 42.195km (Dopey Challenge)
Dopey Challenge runners complete all 4 Walt Disney World® Weekend races in 4 consecutive days: 5km race on 7 January 2021 (Thursday), 10km race on 8 January 2021 (Friday), half marathon on 9 January 2021 (Saturday), and marathon on 10 January 2021 (Sunday).
Finishers get 6 medals.

10km Race (Walt Disney World® 10K)
The 10km race starts at 5:30 8 January 2021 (Friday) in the parking area of Epcot, one of the Walt Disney World® theme parks.
Age limit: from 10 years old on race day.

5km Race (Walt Disney World® 5K)
The 5km race starts at 5:30 7 January 2021 (Thursday) in the parking area of Epcot, one of the Walt Disney World® theme parks.
Age limit: from 5 years old on race day.

Kids Races, 0.1km, 0.2km, 1.6km (runDisney Kids Dashes, runDisney Kids One Mile Run)
The kids races start from 10:30 9 January 2021 (Saturday) at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex (700 S Victory Way, Reunion), Walt Disney World® Resort, Florida.
All participants get a T-shirt, a bib number, a finisher medal.
Age limit: till 13 years old.
Entry fee: 20—25 $ (for runDisney Kids Dashes), 30—35 $ (for runDisney Kids One Mile Run).
The course of the Walt Disney World® Marathon 2021 tracks through all 4 Disney World theme parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
The course of the Walt Disney World® Half Marathon 2021 partly coincides with the marathon route, it passes through 2 Disney World theme parks: Epcot and Magic Kingdom.
Start and finish lines for Walt Disney World® Marathon and Half Marathon 2021 is near Spaceship Earth, a geodesic sphere at Epcot, one of the Walt Disney World® theme parks. The start line is on Epcot Center Drive, and finish is in Epcot parking area.

The participants of the Walt Disney World® Marathon and Half Marathon 2021 are divided into starting blocks according to the results of the previous races indicated during registration and according to their anticipated finish time. Runners are allowed to start from the block that is behind their assigned starting position. The starting block is indicated on the bib number.
You may change your starting block in your participant account till 20 October 2020.
The time limit for completing the marathon is 7 hours, for the half marathon — 3 hours 30 minutes. You must not be behind the required 16-minute-per-mile pace to stay on the route.
Before the start you may leave your personal belongings at the gEAR Bag Check Tent near the start and finish zone in Epcot. The stuff must be packed in a clear deposit bag (bag is included in your Race Pack along with your bib number).
The routes of the Walt Disney World® Marathon and Half Marathon 2021 are certified by USA Track & Field.
You may sign up for races of the Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend 2021 online.
The online registration is open till 28 December 2020 or till the slots last.
You must register by 20 October 2020 to get your name on your bib number.
The entry fee for the Walt Disney World® Marathon 2021 varies depending on the date of purchase:
from 7 May till 20 July 2020 — 190 $,
from 21 July till 12 October 2020 — 200 $,
from 13 October till 28 December 2020 — 210 $.
A 6.6% platform service fee is charged additionally.
The entry fee for the Walt Disney World® Half Marathon 2021 varies depending on the date of purchase:
from 7 May till 20 July 2020 — 188 $,
from 21 July till 12 October 2020 — 198 $,
from 13 October till 28 December 2020 — 208 $.
Entry fee does not include a 6.6% platform service fee.

You may pick up the Race Pack with your bib number 6—9 January 2021 (Wednesday — Saturday) at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo which takes place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex (700 S Victory Way, Reunion), Walt Disney World® Resort, Florida.
To get your Race Pack you should show your ID with photo (passport), your signed race waiver (available online approximately 2 weeks prior to the event).
No health certificate is required to enter any race of the Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend 2021.
