The Los Angeles Marathon is an annual long-distance running event held in Los Angeles, state of California, USA. The official name of the event is Los Angeles Marathon presented by ASICS. About 27.000 athletes take part in marathon race and other competitions (21.889 runners completed marathon in 2020).

The Los Angeles Marathon is an official Boston Qualifier.

Marathon race, 26.2mi/42.195km (Los Angeles Marathon Presented by ASICS)

The marathon race of 26.2mi/42.195km starts at 6:55 20 March 2022 (Sunday) from Dodger Stadium (1000 Elysian Park Ave, Los Angeles).

Age limit: at least 16 years old on race day.

Half Marathon race, 13.1mi/21.097km (Charity Challenge)

The half marathon race of 13.1mi/21.097km starts at 8:15 20 March 2022 (Sunday) from Dodger Stadium (1000 Elysian Park Ave, Los Angeles).

Registration is possible only through Los Angeles Marathon Charity Partners.

The course of the Los Angeles Marathon 2022 named ‘Stadium to the Stars’ tours Los Angeles through Downtown Los Angeles, Little Tokyo, Hollywood downhill to Santa Monica, to the Pacific Ocean, then double backs part of the distance to finish in Century City.

Mile signs are posted at every mile of the route, markers are positioned at each 5km split.

Start line for the Los Angeles Marathon 2022 is at Dodger Stadium (1000 Elysian Park Ave, Los Angeles), the home stadium of Major League Baseball’s Los Angeles Dodgers.

The finish is at Avenue of the Stars in Century City.

The participants of the Los Angeles Marathon 2022 are divided into starting corrals according to the results of the previous races. Runners are allowed to start from the corral that is behind their assigned starting position.

The time limit for completing the marathon is 6 hours 30 minutes (from the time the last runner crosses the start line).

22 water and nutrition stations are located at the marathon route. The stations provide runners with drinking water, Nuun Endurance isotonic drink, CLIF SHOT energy gel. You may get pre-race food and drinks in Parking Lot H at Dodger Stadium (1000 Elysian Park Ave, Los Angeles): water, Nuun Endurance, CLIF SHOT Energy Blocks, fruit and bagels are available. Finishers get post-race food and fluid in the Runner Secured Finish Zone.

20 March 2022 (Sunday) from 5:00 till 6:30, you may leave your personal belongings at the gear check in Parking Lot K at Dodger Stadium (1000 Elysian Park Ave, Los Angeles). The stuff must be packed in a clear event-issued deposit bag (the bag is included in your Race Pack along with your bib number). Participants may retrieve their checked bags after the finish till 15:00. Not collected bags are transported back to the Los Angeles Marathon office, you can get your belongings the week after the race.

During online race registration you may reserve a pre-race shuttle to the start line from several locations.

The route of the Los Angeles Marathon 2022 is certified by the Road Running Technical Council of USA Track & Field (USATF).

The entry fee for the Los Angeles Marathon 2022 is from $179. The entry fee may increase as the race date approaches.

Double registration (Marathon and 5km Race) is available. Finishers that were registered for both the 5km Race and the Marathon receive a third medal — LA Double Play medal.

19 March 2022 (Saturday) from 9:00 till 18:00.

You need to pick-up your Race Pack in person. To get your Race Pack you should show your photo ID.

No health certificate is required to enter any race of the Los Angeles Marathon 2022.
