The Los Angeles Marathon is an annual long-distance running event held in Los Angeles, state of California, USA. The official name of the event is Los Angeles Marathon presented by ASICS. Approximately 29,000 athletes participate in the marathon race and other competitions (16,937 runners completed the marathon in 2023).
The Los Angeles Marathon is an official Boston Qualifier.
A total of 67 nations were represented in the Los Angeles Marathon 2023, including 107 legacy runners who had conquered all 37 past editions of the race.

Half Marathon race, 13.1mi/21.097km (Charity Half Marathon)
The Charity Half Marathon is available only to Charity Runners.

3.1mi/5km Race (LA BIG 5K)
The 3.1mi/5km race starts at 8:00 AM on 16 March 2024 (Saturday) from Dodger Stadium (1000 Elysian Park Ave, Los Angeles).
No age limit.

Kids Race, 0.3mi/0.5km (LA BIG 1/2K Kids Run)
The kids race starts at 9:15 AM on 16 March 2024 (Saturday) from Dodger Stadium (1000 Elysian Park Ave, Los Angeles).
All participants receive a T-shirt, and finisher medal.
Age limit: 2—10 years old. One adult may accompany a child.
Entry fee: starting from $15.
The course of the Los Angeles Marathon 2024, named ‘Stadium to the Stars’ tours Los Angeles through Downtown Los Angeles, Little Tokyo, Hollywood downhill to Santa Monica, to the Pacific Ocean, then double backs part of the distance to finish in Century City.
Mile signs are posted at every mile of the route, and markers are positioned at each 5km split.
The start line for the Los Angeles Marathon 2024 is at Dodger Stadium (1000 Elysian Park Ave, Los Angeles), the home stadium of Major League Baseball’s Los Angeles Dodgers.
The finish line is on Santa Monica Blvd between Avenue of the Stars and Century Park East.

The participants of the Los Angeles Marathon 2024 are divided into starting corrals according to the results of the previous races completed from 1 January 2021 to 31 January 2023. You may change your starting corral until 31 January 2024. Runners are allowed to start from the corral that is behind their assigned starting position.
The time limit for completing the marathon is 6 hours and 30 minutes (from the time the last runner crosses the start line).
The pacemakers of the Los Angeles Marathon 2024 provide the necessary pace to finish within a certain time. The finish times for the marathon are as follows: 3:00; 3:10; 3:20; 3:30; 3:40; 3:50; 4:00; 4:10; 4:20; 4:30; 4:40; 4:50; 5:00; 5:15; 5:30; 5:45; 6:00; 6:15; 6:30 hours.
There are 20 water and nutrition stations located approximately every mile from mile 2 along the marathon route. The stations provide runners with drinking water, isotonic drink, and GU energy gel. Pre-race food and drinks are available at Parking Lot G North at Dodger Stadium (1000 Elysian Park Ave, Los Angeles). They offer water, energy gels, bars, and fruit. Finishers receive post-race food and fluids in the Runner Secured Finish Zone.
From 4:00 AM to 6:30 AM on 17 March 2024 (Sunday), you may leave your personal belongings at the gear check in Parking Lot K at Dodger Stadium (1000 Elysian Park Ave, Los Angeles). Your stuff must be packed in a clear event-issued deposit bag (included in your Race Pack along with your bib number). Participants may retrieve their checked bags after the finish until 15:00 at Century Park East, north of Constellation. Any unclaimed bags are transported back to the Los Angeles Marathon office, and you can retrieve your belongings during the week following the race.
During online race registration, you may reserve a pre-race shuttle to the start line from several locations.
The route of the Los Angeles Marathon 2024 is certified by the Road Running Technical Council of USA Track & Field (USATF).

You need to pick up your Race Pack in person. To collect your Race Pack, you should present your government-issued photo ID, QR code from your confirmation email, and sign the event waiver.
No health certificate is required to enter any race of the Los Angeles Marathon 2024.
