The Larnaka Marathon is an annual long-distance running event held in Larnaca, Cyprus. The official name of the event is Radisson Blu Διεθνής Μαραθώνιος Λάρνακας, Radisson Blu Larnaka International Marathon. About 4.500 athletes take part in marathon race and other competitions (266 runners completed marathon and 693 finished half marathon in 2019).
The Larnaka Marathon is the first Cyprus green marathon. It promotes environment friendly attitude, reuse and recycling.
In 2020 the Larnaka Marathon was cancelled due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis.
You may run Cyprus marathon or half marathon in Paphos in March (Logicom Cyprus Marathon) and in Limassol in November (OPAP Limassol Marathon).

The marathon race of 26.2mi/42.195km starts at 8:00 21 November 2021 (Sunday) from Larnaka Town Hall at the intersection of Athinon Avenue and Kosma Lysioti Street.
Age limit: from 18 years old on the race date.
Half Marathon race, 13.1mi/21.097km (Ημιμαραθώνιος)
The half marathon race of 13.1mi/21.097km starts simultaneously with the marathon at 8:00 21 November 2021 (Sunday) from Larnaka Town Hall at the intersection of Athinon Avenue and Kosma Lysioti Street.
Age limit: from 18 years old on the race date.
6.2mi/10km Race (Αγώνας δρόμου 10KM)
The 6.2mi/10km race starts at 10:30 21 November 2021 (Sunday) from Larnaka Town Hall at the intersection of Athinon Avenue and Kosma Lysioti Street.
Age limit: from 15 years old on the race date.
Entry fee: €20—40.
The course of the Larnaka Marathon (Radisson Blu Διεθνής Μαραθώνιος Λάρνακας, Radisson Blu Larnaka International Marathon) 2021 is out-and-back 13.1mi/21.097km route; marathoners run 2 loops, half marathon participants — 1 loop. The route tracks along the Finikoudes beach (Παραλία Φοινικούδων), named after the small palm trees planted there back in 1922, from Larnaka center to Larnaca International Airport (Διεθνής Αερολιμένας Λάρνακας) and village Dromolaxia (Δρομολαξιά).
The course passes next to Larnaca Salt Lake (Αλυκή Λάρνακας), one of the most important wetlands of Cyprus, the haunt of 85 species of water-birds, among them are pink flamingoes.
Highlights of the course:
- medieval Larnaca Castle (Κάστρο Λάρνακας),
- Church of Saint Lazarus (Ιερός Ναός Αγίου Λαζάρου), a late-9th century Byzantine stone church,
- Hala Sultan Tekke, aka the Mosque of Umm Haram (Τεκές Χαλά Σουλτάνας), a listed Ancient Monument.

The time limit for completing the marathon is 6 hours, for the half marathon distance — 3 hours. Additional limits are applied for certain points of the course.
Water and nutrition stations are located every 2.5km of the route beginning from the km 5, and at the finish. The stations provide runners with water, isotonic drink, fruit.
Before the start 21 November 2021 (Sunday), you may leave your personal belongings in the deposit area near the start and finish zone. The stuff must be packed in a deposit bag; you should attach to your bag a sticker that has your race number on it. The sticker and the bag are included in your Race Pack along with your bib number.
