The Zurich Marathon is an annual long-distance running event held in Zurich, Switzerland. The official name of the event is Zürich Marathon. About 10.000 athletes take part in marathon race and other competitions (2.310 runners completed marathon in 2019).

In 2020 the Zurich Marathon was cancelled due to the COVID-19 virus.

The marathon race of 26.2mi/42.195km starts at 8:30 25 April 2021 (Sunday) from Mythenquai Street.
Age limit: from 18 years old on the race date.
6.2mi/10km Race (Cityrun)
The 6.2mi/10km race starts at 8:30 25 April 2021 (Sunday) from Mythenquai Street.
Age limit: from 14 years old on the race date.
Entry fee: 46—92 € (49—99 CHF).
Relay Marathon, 26.2mi/42.195km for 4 runners (Teamrun)
The relay starts at 8:30 25 April 2021 (Sunday) from Mythenquai Street.
The relay team consists of 4 members: the 1st runs 8km, the 2nd — 12.7km, the 3rd — 4km, and the last — 17.5km.

The traditional pasta carbo-load is held 20—24 April 2021 (Tuesday — Saturday) at Zurich Marathon (Zürich Marathon) 2021 Expo — Runners Experience Week in the department store Jelmoli (Seidengasse 1, 8001 Zurich).
Every participant gets a free voucher for pasta.

Start and finish for the Zurich Marathon (Zürich Marathon) 2021 is on Mythenquai Street in Enge, a quarter of Zurich.

The Zurich Marathon (Zürich Marathon) 2021 participants are divided into starting blocks according to their expected finish time. The starting block is color indicated on the bib number.
Time limit for completing the marathon is 5 hours 30 minutes. Additional limits are applied for certain points of the course.
The pace makers of the Zurich Marathon (Zürich Marathon) 2021 provide the necessary pace in order to finish within a certain time. Target times for marathon are 3:00, 3:15, 3:30, 3:45, 4:00, 4:15, 4:30, 4:45, 5:00, 5:30 hours.
Water and nutrition stations are located every 3.5km of the route and at the finish. The stations provide runners with drinking water, isotonic drink PowerBar Isoactive, fruit, Power Bar carbohydrate bar, Powergel, Rivella soft drink. Finishers get water, Rivella soft drink and snacks.
Before the start you may leave your personal belongings in the deposit area in 400 m from the start line (Mythenquai Street).The stuff must be packed in a deposit bag, you should attach to your bag a sticker that has your race number on it (the sticker and the bag are included in your Race Pack along with your bib number). Participants or their friends may retrieve the bags from 9:30 till 15:00 by showing a coupon attached to the bib number.
You may change and have shower from 6:30 till 15:00 25 April 2021 (Sunday) in the Mythenquai bathing establishment, near the start and finish line.
The route of the Zurich Marathon (Zürich Marathon) 2021 is certified by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS).
