The Munster Marathon is an annual long-distance running event held in Munster, Germany. The official name of the event is Volksbank-Münster-Marathon. About 10.000 athletes take part in marathon race and other competitions (1.728 runners completed marathon in 2019).

The relay starts at 9:15 12 September 2021 (Sunday) from Schlossplatz Square in Munster.
The relay team consists of 4 members: the 1st runs 10.5km, the 2nd — 11km, the 3rd — 10km, and the last — 10.7km.

Entry fee: €128 per team.
The course of the Munster Marathon (Volksbank-Münster-Marathon) 2021 tracks through the streets of Munster in the districts of Nienberge, Roxel and Gievenbeck, crosses artificial lake Aasee over Torminbrücke Bridge.

The Munster Marathon (Volksbank-Münster-Marathon) 2021 participants are divided into 4 starting blocks according to the results of the previous races. The starting block is color indicated on the bib number.
Time limit for completing the marathon is 5 hours 30 minutes. Finish zone closes at 14:30.
The pace makers of the Munster Marathon (Volksbank-Münster-Marathon) 2021 provide the necessary pace in order to finish within a certain time. The pace makers can be recognized by balloons marked with the corresponding finish time. Target times for marathon are 2:45, 3:00, 3:15, 3:30, 3:45, 4:00, 4:15, 4:30, 5:00, 5:30 hours.
Water and nutrition stations are located every 2.5km of the route beginning at km 5 and at the finish. The stations provide runners with drinking water, isotonic drink, fruit, Cola.
Before the start runners may leave their personal belongings from 7:30 till 17:00 12 September 2021 (Sunday) at the deposit area, in the school Gymnasium Paulinum (Am Stadtgraben 30, 48143, Münster). After finish, you may change and have shower there.
