24th Tel Aviv Samsung Marathon (מרתון Samsung תל-אביב) and Half Marathon 2021, are cancelled as in-person races due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. Races are converted to virtual events. More info is here.

The Tel Aviv Marathon is an annual long-distance running event held in Tel Aviv, Israel. The official name of the event is מרתון Samsung תל-אביב (Tel Aviv Samsung Marathon). About 40.000 athletes take part in marathon race and other competitions (696 runners completed marathon and 3.242 finished half marathon in 2020).
The first Tel Aviv Marathon was established in 1981, the competition was not held in 1983, from 1995 till 2005 and in 2013.

Tel Aviv Samsung Marathon 2020
Marathon race, 42.195km (מרתון Samsung תל-אביב, Tel Aviv Samsung Marathon)
The marathon race of 42.195km starts at 7:00 19 February 2021 (Friday) from Rokach Blvd. between Park Hayarkon and Merkaz Hayeridimin in Tel Aviv.
Age limit: from 18 years old on race day.
Half Marathon race, 21.097km
The half marathon race of 21.097km starts at 6:15 and at 6:30 19 February 2021 (Friday) from Rokach Blvd. between Park Hayarkon and Merkaz Hayeridimin in Tel Aviv.
The hand cycle race starts at 6:10.
Age limit: from 16 years old on race day.
10km Race
The 10km race starts at 8:45, 9:00, 9:15 and 9:30 19 February 2021 (Friday) from Rokach Blvd. between Park Hayarkon and Merkaz Hayeridimin in Tel Aviv.
Age limit: from 14 years old on race day.
Entry fee: 36—43 € (140—165 ILS).
The roundtrip course of the Tel Aviv Marathon runs on the city streets — UNESCO World Heritage site and along the Mediterranean shoreline.
The course of the Tel Aviv Half Marathon 2021 partly coincide with the marathon distance.
Start and finish for all races of the Tel Aviv Samsung Marathon 2021 is on Rokach Blvd. between Park Hayarkon and Merkaz Hayeridim. The finish of the marathon is on the parking of Yarkon Park on Rokach Blvd.
Red signs (pointers and arrows) mark the marathon course, the half marathon signs are blue.

The Tel Aviv Marathon and Half Marathon 2021 participants are divided into starting blocks according to the expected finish time. The starting block is indicated on the bib number.
The time limit for completing the marathon is 6 hours, for the half marathon — 2 hours 45 minutes.
The pace makers of the Tel Aviv Marathon and Half Marathon 2021 provide the necessary pace in order to finish within a certain time. The pace makers can be recognized by their outfit and balloons marked with the corresponding finish time. Target times for marathon are following: 3:15, 3:30, 3:45, 4:00, 4:15, 4:30, 4:45, 5:00 hours. These are half marathon target times: 1:40, 1:50, 1:55, 2:00, 2:10, 2:15, 2:20, 2:30.
Water and nutrition stations are located approximately every 3km of the route and at the finish. The stations provide runners with drinking water, isotonic drink, energy gel. There are refreshing sprinklers on the route.
Bag deposit is available for a fee.
The route of the Tel Aviv Samsung Marathon 2021 is certified by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS).

till 10 December 2020 — 47 € (190 ILS);
from 11 December 2020 till 10 February 2021 — 54 € (210 ILS).

14—17 February 2021 (Sunday — Wednesday) from 11:00 till 21:00,
18 February 2021 (Thursday) from 11:00 till 17:00.
To get your Race Pack you should show your ID with photo (passport).
You may authorize another person to collect your Race Pack. The collecting person needs to present a copy of your ID and your signed health declaration which includes the power of attorney.
No health certificate is required to enter any race of the Tel Aviv Marathon 2021. At bib number pick-up you should sign the declaration of your health condition.
