21st Split Marathon (Split Maraton) and Half Marathon 2021, scheduled for 28 February 2021, is postponed to 26 September 2021 (Sunday).

The Split Marathon is an annual long-distance running event held in Split, Croatia. The official name of the event is Split Maraton. About 3.000 athletes take part in marathon race and other competitions (586 runners completed marathon and 1.609 finished half marathon in 2020).
Marathon distance joined the traditional Split Half Marathon in 2021.

Marathon race, 26.2mi/42.195km (Split Maraton)
The marathon race of 26.2mi/42.195km starts at 9:00 26 September 2021 (Sunday) from Riva promenade in Split.
Age limit: from 18 years old on 31 December 2021.
Half Marathon race, 13.1mi/21.097km (Splitski Polumaraton)
The half marathon race of 13.1mi/21.097km starts at 9:00 26 September 2021 (Sunday) from Riva promenade in Split.
Age limit: from 16 years old on 31 December 2021.
Relay Marathon, 26.2mi/42.195km for 4 runners (štafetni maraton)
The relay starts at 9:00 26 September 2021 (Sunday) from Riva promenade in Split.
The relay team consists of 4 members each running part of the distance: the 1st three runners — 6.2mi/10km, the last runner — 7.6mi/12.195km.
Age limit: from 14 years old on 31 December 2021.
Entry fee: €108—272 (HRK 800—2.000) per team.
3.1mi/5km Race (Trofej Slobodne Dalmacije)
The 3.1mi/5km race starts at 16:00 25 September 2021 (Saturday) from Riva promenade in Split.
Age limit: from 12 years old on 31 December 2021.
Entry fee: €11—27 (HRK 80—200).
Kid’s Races, 0.4mi/0.625km, 0.8mi/1.25km, 1.6mi/2.5km (dm Dječje Milje)
The kid’s races start from 14:00 25 September 2021 (Saturday) from Riva promenade in Split.
Participants’ birth year: 2007 and later.
Entry fee: €3 (HRK 20).
The course of the Split Marathon (Split Maraton) 2021 tracks through the historic center of the city — UNESCO World Heritage site, runs in the southern part of the town Solin and around the town of Vranjic which is called Little Venice. Runners move along the coast of the Kashtel Bay (Kaštelanski zaljev) and the Split Channel (Splitski kanal), around Marjan Hill with a forest park and the beach Bene.
The course of the Split Half marathon (Splitski Polumaraton) 2021 partly coincides with the marathon distance.
Start and finish for all races of the Split Marathon (Split Maraton) 2021 is on Riva promenade near Diocletian’s Palace (Dioklecijanova palača) which is considered to be the best preserved palace of the Roman Empire period.

The time limit for completing the marathon is 6 hours, for completing the half marathon — 3 hours.
There are 11 water and nutrition stations on the marathon course, and 5 stations on the half marathon course. The stations provide runners with water, energy drink, fruit.
The route of the Split Marathon (Split Maraton) 2021 is certified by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races AIMS.

24—25 September 2021 (Friday — Saturday) from 10:00 till 20:00,
26 September 2021 (Sunday) on race day from 7:00 till 8:00.
To get your Race Pack you should show your ID with photo (passport), your confirmation email (printed or on the screen).
You may authorize another person to collect your Race Pack. The collecting person needs to present your confirmation email, a copy of your ID.
No health certificate is required to enter any race of the Split Marathon (Split Maraton) 2021.
