Half Marathon race, 13.1mi/21.097km (The Vitality Big Half)
The half marathon race of 13.1mi/21.097km starts at 9:00 25 April 2021 (Sunday) near Tower Bridge from 2 starting zones: orange and green. The orange start line is on Tower Bridge Road and Tooley Street. The green start line is on Tower Hill.
Age limit: at least 17 years old on race day.
The course of the London Half Marathon (The Vitality Big Half) 2021 tracks through 4 London boroughs: Southwark, Tower Hamlets, Lewisham and Greenwich, on both banks of the River Thames. The runners cross the Thames over Tower Bridge.
The start of the London Half Marathon (The Vitality Big Half) 2021 is near Tower Bridge, there are 2 starting zones: orange and green. The orange start line is on Tower Bridge Road and Tooley Street. The green start line is on Tower Hill.
The finish is on the opposite bank of the Thames, by Cutty Sark (King William Walk, London SE10 9HT), a museum ship in a custom-built dry dock at Greenwich.

The London Half Marathon (The Vitality Big Half) 2021 participants are divided into starting blocks and waves according to the results of the previous races. The starting block is indicated on the bib number.
The pace makers of the London Half Marathon (The Vitality Big Half) 2021 provide the necessary pace in order to finish within a certain time. The pace makers can be recognized by flags marked with the corresponding finish time. Target times for half marathon are 1:30, 1:45, 2:00, 2:15, 2:30, 2:45, 3:00, 3:15, 3:30 hours.
4 water and nutrition stations are located on the half marathon route. The stations provide runners with water, isotonic drink.
Before the start you may leave your personal belongings in the tracks near the start zone. The stuff must be packed in a deposit bag (it is included in your Race Pack along with your bib number and a sticker). The bag is to be marked with the sticker that has your race number on it. The bags are transported to the finish area.

The entry fee for the London Half Marathon (The Vitality Big Half) 2021 is €51 (£46).
There are special discounted rates for residents of the four host London boroughs.
If the race is postponed or cancelled for any reason participants will be refunded 100% of the entry fee.
The time is measured by multiuse electronic chip which is fixed on the shoe. If you don’t return the chip in 30 days after the race you will be charged additional €11 (£10).
