The Bangkok Marathon is an annual long-distance running event held in Bangkok, Thailand. The official name of the event is Amazing Thailand Marathon Bangkok presented by Toyota. About 30.000 athletes take part in marathon race and other competitions (3.694 runners completed marathon and 7.652 finished half marathon in 2020).
The Amazing Thailand Marathon Bangkok presented by Toyota is one of the World Athletics Label Races.

The marathon race of 26.2mi/42.195km starts in the morning at 2:00 5 December 2021 (Sunday) from Rajamangala Stadium (ราชมังคลากีฬาสถาน), Bangkok.
Age limit: at least 18 years old on race day.
Half Marathon race, 13.1mi/21.097km
The half marathon race of 13.1mi/21.097km starts in the morning at 2:00 5 December 2021 (Sunday) from Rajamangala Stadium (ราชมังคลากีฬาสถาน), Bangkok.

6.2mi/10km Race (Bangkok Bank 10km)
The 6.2mi/10km race starts in the morning at 5:35 5 December 2021 (Sunday) near a buddhist temple Loha Prasat (โลหะปราสาท) at Ratchadamnoen Avenue (ถนนราชดำเนิน).
Age limit: at least 13 years old on race day.
Entry fee: €17—28 (THB 600—1.000).
The course of the Bangkok Marathon (Amazing Thailand Marathon Bangkok presented by Toyota) 2021 tracks westward through the streets, tunnels and highways of the Thai capital, it crosses twice the Chao Phraya River (แม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา) over the Rama VIII Bridge (สะพานพระราม).
Highlights of the course:
- Victory Monument (อนุสาวรีย์ชัยสมรภูมิ, Anusawari Chai Samoraphum), erected in 1941 to commemorate the Thai victory in the Franco-Thai War;
- Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall (พระที่นั่งอนันตสมาคม);
- bronze equestrian statue of King Chulalongkorn the Great (Rama V) at the center of the Royal Plaza (ลานพระราชวังดุสิต).

The Bangkok Marathon (Amazing Thailand Marathon Bangkok presented by Toyota) and Half Marathon 2021 participants are divided into starting blocks according to the expected finish time indicated in the registration form. The starting block is marked on the bib number.
The time limit for completing the distance counts from the time the last participant passes the start line. It is 7 hours for the marathon and 4 hours for the half marathon.
Water and nutrition stations are located approximately every 1.2mi/2km of the route. The stations provide runners with drinking water, isotonic drink, fruit, ice-cream, pastry, refreshing sponges. Finishers may enjoy Thai cuisine treats.
Before the start 5 December 2021 (Sunday), runners may leave their personal belongings in the deposit area near the start. The stuff must be packed in the transparent deposit bag, you should attach to your bag a tag that has your race number on it. The tag and the bag are included in your Race Pack along with your bib number.
Free shuttle service from Makkasan Station (สถานีมักกะสัน), Bangkok Airport Link to Rajamangala Stadium (ราชมังคลากีฬาสถาน) is available from 17:00 4 December 2021 (Saturday) till 1:00 5 December 2021 (Sunday).
